Seasense's Owner’s Suite has an art installation/chandelier by Danish duo Studio Roso and two pieces from photographer Valerie Bélin’s 2015 series Super Models ( front: Saffron and back: Junita, both archival pigment print).

Delivered to the owner at the end of July 2017, Seasense was given her world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 67m full custom superyacht was built at Benetti’s Livorno shipyard and is currently for private use only.

Los Angeles based design firm Area, and Benetti’s team of architects, collaborated to design the interiors. The “sense of the sea” is ever present, reflected throughout the interiors by the use of multiple blue colourways. The materials have been meticulously researched to create unique furnishings. These include four varieties of wood used in the cabins, as well as marble and carpets used in the bathrooms and in the internal areas’ floors. The owners of Seasense are enthusiastic art collectors and their passion is reflected in the vast collection that is onboard this superyacht.

The 67m Benetti Seasense

The work of award winning photographer Valerie Bélin takes centre place in the Upper Deck Salon, Sky Lounge, Dining Room and Owner’s Cabin All artworks were taken from her Super Models (2015) Series; the vibrant photographic collages bring a splash of colour to the blue hues of Seasense. The Master Suite’s ceiling is 3m high giving the cabin a sense of space and grandeur. In addition to Bélin’s work, the owners specially commissioned Studio Roso to build a huge steel art installation/ chandelier measuring 2.7m x 2.2m for their Owner’s Suite. On the same deck, the grey Antartide Marble spiral staircase is in good company with the colourful paintings by Sol Lewitt. Other artists whose work is featured onboard Seasense are: Arnoldo Pomodoro, Victor Vasarely, Mel Bochner, Mel Bochner, Ellsworth Kelly, Paula Scher, John Torreano, Richard Dupont, Claudia Comte, Daniel Steegman Mangrané – and Rinaldo Frattolillo.
